Social Security? People retiring after 2011 paid MORE into the fund than they will receive in benefits.

Medicare, on the other hand provides more benefits than were paid in. As a result, Congress has made several changes. Retirees with income >$106K.year must pay an additional premium (up to $628/month). In 2013, Congress added an additional 0.9% for those earning more than $200K/year. Also, the deductible for medicare has been raised. More changes could be made here to prevent abuses

Medicaid has been aboused for years.
