It makes no sense to look backwards, determine accountability and culpability, and punish people for things that were done months or years ago. That's why gangs of hooligans are detained and released, because their punishment won't un rape, or un murder their victims.
To be clear, those rules don't apply if Democrats can concoct criminal activity and blame it on Trump for actions years ago. Justice must be served and no one is above the law. Very few, anyway.
