the kind with assigned seats, waiters filling up your wine glass constantly, etc.

My brother and I got stuck at a table at which we knew no one. We passed on the wine and continually filled up our wine glasses using the large bottle of Jager I brought in.

There was probably a reason they put us at a table with the unimportant people.
