i'm not a fan of mbb because of deals like this. but it's the way the game is played these days. so either face the brutal facts, game, or die.
like ku's #1 portal class last year, this #4, some say, k-state class won't be a known entity until they play some games. the squawks were bad. and i watched coleman hawkins and dug mcdaniel disappoint mightily here. so we're going to be patient. we can do that because of football.
mbb is like the pros now. k-state and memphis make a four-player trade. tigers got naquan tomlin and now dug. cats got tyreek smith and now pj.
as for nil money, k-state has a number of wealthy alums who remember when the program was excellent. evidently, they are willing to buy it back now, idk.
