Well, if Apple is anywhere near truthful, it will cost more than double to make the iphone here vs overseas.
In a quick google search, it said that Apple has 164,000 employees, but it was difficult to say if that was total or USA based, and found another that said they had 90,000 here.
They are both a significant employer and investor in the USA. Be happy with that.
And we are now seeing this new trend of forcing higher tariffs to get companies to move production here, which is a huge loser when it comes to product costs, and is anti-market.
On top of that, government fights with employers is just outright dumb. Government should want all employers to succeed and grow
