He's slow to respond and his responses are too timid. During COVID he always seemed to wait to see what DeSantis would do, the do something similar and with less political risk.
Yes, Paxton can win. And he will. The organizational GOP hates Cornyn, as do the grassroots GOP activists. Cornyn draws his support from Republican voters who only pay attention to politics every two years.
