We didn't study it as I recall in school civics. Might of been mentioned but if it was it was so brief I don't recall Mr. Bird talking about it in length, and believe I learned it in CJ class.

And 100% sure in Political Science in College we never went over it cause as I said I heard about it in CJ class.

I find it interesting that Some on this board assume everyone retains the same information they was taught or that all students are taught the same thing in every class across the state and nation.

I know this My Civics class in school was much different than the Leftist BS my daughters where given to study... they completely ignored or minimized the 2A.... and focused on the 13th who cares about slavery some folks just have bondage coming if they don't fight till the death and huge sections on 14th and illegal aliens as not criminal scum.

I was glad to countermand their teachers and bring my daughters up as 2A stalwarts and to dislike foreigners and to not give to shats about the historic institution of Slavery and their plight and expectations of others to free them.
