The majority of Americans believe that the United States economy is doing well under President Donald Trump’s leadership, per a survey released Monday.
A slight majority of voters — 51% — said they believe the economy is “strong,” according to a Harvard University Center for American Political Studies (CAPS)/Harris poll conducted in May.
This marked the first time Harvard CAPS/Harris found that over half of Americans felt this way since July 2021.
The same poll also found that Trump received a 47% approval rating, while his disapproval rating was at a nearly identical 48%.
