Its easily detected by regular checkups and blood tests. I doubt this was a recent discovery. It is much more likely that biden failed to respond to treatments and the cancer has metastasized. The announcement is as much a political statement as a publicizing of his diagnosis. The dems can't help themselves from spinning.
