RE: Per Facebook, ongoing investigation

At a junior high track meet at Rock Bridge HS a couple weeks ago a couple of female track athletes got into a fight. Reportedly, they and their teammates had been jawing back and forth throughout the afternoon and early evening. When they got into an actual fight, several other fights broke out and one kid pulled a gun from his duffle bag. He didn't fire a shot, but waved the gun at other kids and adult coaches. Multiple police cars arrived and many of the athletes involved in the melee scattered to nearby neighborhoods. I heard later that some kids were tazed by the cops and several were detained and/or arrested. RBHS officials cancelled the remaining three events and sent everyone home early. There was almost nothing in the local news.
