The problems with the democrats are many

but mainly they fall into two areas:
-immigration
-overwokeness
Essentially there still is very little difference between the two wings of the liberal party. So little that they have to fight about cultural issues more than policy.
The democrats played the immigration game exactly wrong.
There really is no logical reason for why they let the border get out of hand. The great replacement theory is
just so much nonsense, but it gains traction because there really is no defensible reason for it (other than of course the elite want us hopelessly divided and that is the role the dems play for them).
A certain degree of wokeness is of course much preferable to the comatose racism and bigotry of the other wing.
However the dems went way over board, so much so that there is almost no way for them to backtrack to the middle ground. Again its almost as if it was planned that way.
