I was not impressed at all with Gray's defense.

He is a large human, but his feet were made of stone and he fouled way too much. He was not impressive at all as a shot blocker.

He would surprise me and pull 8 or 10 rebounds in a game, but then follow it with 2 or 3 in the next.

I expect Phillips to be an improvement on both sides of the ball.
