Nick/mods,
Following up on my previous message regarding JG. Moderator haeffb recently said his posts “do not meet the criteria” for violating Nick’s July 14 rule. I respectfully disagree, and I want to lay out clearly why his posts do, in fact, violate both the letter and spirit of the rule.
Here’s the rule Nick posted on 7/14/24:
“No more talk of killing, eliminating, not allowing them to breathe the same air, or anything of the like. I understand politics brings out heightened emotions in people but this sort of expression is not going to be tolerated here anymore. I’ve directed the mods to issue a 30-day suspension for anyone posting such things going forward. A second offense will be permanent suspension.”
The rule is broad and intentional. It doesn’t just ban direct threats—it covers anything promoting, fantasizing about, or justifying the death or elimination of political opponents, even if it’s sarcastic or metaphorical.
JG already served a 30-day suspension for drone strike comments tied to Trump supporters. Since then, here’s what he’s posted:
1. Called for executions of Trump and his cabinet:
“If the trump makes a military move against Greenland… he should be promptly arrested and handed over to the Hague. Then swiftly tried and executed. The same fate for any members of his cabinet who fail to resign immediately.”

This is a direct call for the death of political opponents. No ambiguity here.
2. Justified drone strikes on Trump supporters by calling them terrorists:
“When they became terrorists.”
http://tigerboard.com/boards/view.php?message=19352055
“Terrorists. Of course it’s a potato/potato situation.”
http://tigerboard.com/boards/view.php?message=19282859
He’s justifying killing Trump supporters by labeling them as terrorists. That’s exactly the kind of rhetoric the rule is supposed to prevent.
3. Used violent metaphor equating Trump supporters to a character who gets his neck snapped in a movie:
“The scene where Ursus… breaks the neck of el Toro is so reminiscent of Tigerboard (just substitute any trumplican for el toro)…”
http://tigerboard.com/boards/view.php?message=19229969
Again, fantasizing about the death of political opponents, even if it’s framed as a movie reference.
4. Wished for mass suicide of Trump voters:
“Bridge jumping by all Trump voters would make this all worthwhile!”

This one speaks for itself.
These aren’t isolated or vague. This is a clear, repeated pattern of rhetoric that falls directly under “talk of killing, eliminating… or anything of the like.”
haeffb may not see these as violations, but that ignores the rule’s intent—to put a stop to this exact kind of speech. JG’s behavior didn’t stop after his first suspension. It escalated. By the standard Nick laid out—second offense = permanent suspension—JG should no longer be on the site.
Appreciate your time and your work running the board. Just asking for a consistent application of the rule.
Respectfully yours,
