Stanford is renovating their softball stadium as we speak to the tune of $38.5M from what I saw online. Set to be ready for use at the end of this year. Similar costs to Ole Miss’s upgrade that was completed this past winter for $32M.
Stanford couldn’t host because their games this year are being played in the football stadium. Sucks for them but they did set the NCAA softball attendance record this year for a single softball game with over 13,000 for a game against Cal.
As far as I know, Mizzou is still the only SEC school without an indoor hitting facility at their stadium. Seen the online pics of the upgrades at Devine which has to help but have heard a dedicated indoor facility at the stadium has been on HCLA’s wishlist for a long time.
