His OBP is a lot higher than whoever would bat leadoff

last year...probably close to a 100 points higher. The leadoff hitters last year were insanely bad. He's sort of like Massey, he's not slow but he's not especially fast either. I've seen him get thrown out multiple times trying to run the bases aggressively but i've seen a lot of KC guys get thrown out trying to be aggressive.
I suspect India's awful defense has played a part in him not hitting like he's capable of. Yesterday he was playing left field and after they PH someone they moved him to 2nd base. Q has been adamant that they want him at 3rd base or LF to keep him on the same side of the diamond but that wasn't the case yesterday. Hopefully they're done trying to convince us that was a good strategy...he should never get close to 3rd base again, he's really bad there...he should play 2nd as much as possible and then LF.
