You didn't have to be clairvoyant to know when Trump descended down that escalator in 2015 he was not fit to be President then and has only proven that over and over since then.

He is a world class liar yet people still fall for it. All those idiots that thought he would ensure that tips aren't taxes so they voted for him? Probably not Constitutional anyway but the latest GOP bill that just came out has no provisions in there for that.

And why would he care about his supporters at this point. He lies all the time and people just call it fake news or deny he's lying.

This entire disastrous tariff saga has been classic Trump. He's using pre-World War I trade tactics (i.e. massive tariff protectionism) as grievance retaliation for an America that he says over and over has been "ripped off". We're the biggest economy in the world and per capita incomes in America are higher than any other country with a population the size of the US...by a lot.

Post WW2 America had the only working blue water Navy in the world and knew global trade would not only help everyone grow richer but bring peace to the planet. And it largely has. American methods aren't always clean, but the world owes a great deal of gratitude to America's foresight in seeing freer trade as the lynchpin to less war.

Now the world is changing again, needs a new way of doing things and Trump doesn't have any plan. Because he's surrounded himself with loyalists and not experts. His cabinet? A joke. Really. Hilarious.

Tariffs are the worst idea right now.

It's not even close. He literally has no Plan B. No plan to help assist the economy to adjust to a changing world of technology, where things like AI and technical infrastructure are needed now more than ever.

Nope, just tariffs on things like avocados. Because, you know, America has just been kept out of the avocado growing business for too long. That must be avenged.

Now he wants to suspend habeas corpus? Why? Just for the history books. Notorious and infamous are synonyms for illustrious and famous to him. He just wants the spotlight. That anyone could think he gives two ****s about America or its citizenry as a whole is beyond belief at this point.

Hell, call me an early adopter, but I knew Trump was a crooked con man POS a decade ago. How? I knew the history of the man.
