It is what it is. What is the NCAA supposed to do, separate the P4 conferences from the rest of the teams? Same thing in basketball for the smaller conferences, if some team wins their conference tourney (even if under .500) they make it. Last season, we were 30 games over .500. This season, because of SOS, all we needed to do is get 1 game over .500 and we make it. And then you never know, 1 pitcher catches fire like Krings last season. This season could be McCann and there's a chance to win a couple games in regionals or even upset the host team. But not to be. Just ONE f***in game over .500. Come on. Painful to not even accomplish that. And that's not to trash the players in any way, just an unfortunate confluence of not bringing in enough talent and how the schedule worked out
