Media companies such are Universal, Paramount, etc. produce plenty of programming that is not going to air on NBC, CBS, USA, etc., but is still available on streaming platforms such as Peacock, Paramount+, etc. Ken Burns Baseball had 45 millions viewers, which was an all-time high for a PBS program at the time. 45 million eyeballs have value.
