they elected him when he was practically a vegetable. Maybe they should have considered that.
They did the same with Biden. Anyone could see he wasn’t all there when he was elected, and half way through his term he was a vegetable. Then they act all surprised last spring.
Simone Weil wrote a long time ago that parties hate when members step too far outside the lines. They will try to bring that politician back within the lines or publicly ostracize to isolate them and get them out of the party.
