Christian Phil the outstanding choice for religious council

The book says nothing about Christianity, and almost nothing about religion in general. On those rare occasions when Doctor Phil does mention God, it is usually to take his name in vain.
Like most normal Americans I have been aware of Christian Phil for a long time, but never paid him much mind.
I went searching for his Christianity and found no evidence of it prior to 2024. Even when he joined a
Christian radio syndicate in 2023 it pointedly mentioned his show was not about Christianity nor religion.
Well I guess a late conversion is better than never, but not better than a fake conversion to dupe the dupes.
