Truth is - this re-establishes an easy way/reason for the cops to pick up drivers who are likely a hazard and vet them while they're off the road. And it's all too sad, but there is a real problem with illegal drivers in big rigs and it seems a huge proportion of them don't speak English and can't read a lot of the signs.

We shouldn't have to redo all the signs, before some of the idiots go there.

And it isn't "bigger" government - it was already there.
