The $135 billion cost to taxpayers doesn't include the expense of defending multiple lawsuits challenging DOGE's actions, nor the impact of estimated lost tax collections due to staff cuts at the IRS.
Nor does it include the billions and billions it will cost for other such things as lack of early warnings for pandemics, lives lost due to cancelled research, etc etc etc
DOGE will turn out to be one of the worst things in a truly horrific administration.
