was very well done. It is roughly what I have believed for quite some time, but with a few additional insights for good measure. Thanks for sharing it.
But, it was a little dated. The video was posted 9 years ago and Chomsky's thoughts and the video itself probably pre-dated that.
Since then alternative media has exploded. I think much of it set the media on its ear and probably upset the elites quite a bit by disrupting and endangering their elaborate, interconnected network of control & manipulation. The New York Times was highlighted in those clips, and rightly so. But they are feeling the disruption in a pretty big way.
I have no doubt that the elites of the elite have made some major adjustments and have been gaining control of the newer levers of power and control over the masses, but probably with some significant rogue (from their perspective) influencers still at large, and a lot of smaller ones that they will still want to gain control of... one way or another.
It is difficult for the average citizen to truly know all of the major details of what is going on, probably impossible actually. It is a bit like being in a house of mirrors where people are intentionally fed distorted information, but not just for fun and games.
We all need to continually discern the truth as best we can, albeit imperfectly.
