Probability of remaining 2 weeks…

We need to find a way to end up with a .500 final record for an “At Large” NCAA Tournament bid. Since I believe we are able to play a maximum of 56 games in a season, that leaves the door open for 1 more mid-week game next week vs a “beatable” team (not an absolute by any means this season) since at this current point we will end up with 55 games played after 3 vs Alabama and 3 vs Georgia. Nothing has been mentioned as of yet before this weekend vs Alabama because we first and foremost have to win at least 2 out of 3 games in Tuscaloosa… a tall task that we haven’t done to date…but not out of the question. So if we can accomplish winning at least 2 games vs Alabama, that leaves the door open for an NCAA at large bid by ending up with a .500 record if we can schedule and beat a mid week opponent. Then next weekend we are faced with beating Georgia 2 out of 3 games as well (another tall task). We would then end up with a 28-28 record, hence .500. Otherwise, without scheduling the mid week game, we will have to go 5-1 over the next 6 games as well as sweep either Alabama (in Alabama) or Georgia at home. Once again, not impossible but highly unlikely.
