Had a customer ask about two-way radio batteries. They'd been buying them from Amazon and the rechargeable Li-Ion batteries were lasting 6 months.

I explained how the Kenwood OEM batteries were made using Sanyo or Panasonic cells and typically last 5 years before needing replacement. The difference is the quality of the cells sealed in the packs.

Now the fvcking chinks have gotten pretty good at pirating the injection molding plastics used to make the battery case and fitment to the radios is pretty good. But they are still sh*t cells made in a Chinese plant and the QC is crap. It only takes one shorted cell in a pack to render the pack obsolete.

So the customer is back to buying OEM products from me instead of from Gitchy-Goomee Chinese sh*t even though the sh*t batteries are 1/4 the cost.
