Volvo (parent) is a foreign truck manufacturer that COMPETES with it's subsidiary (Mack) by importing trucks from Mexico and Canada.

Volvo is pinched by the tariffs, not Mack.

Mack's sales were pinched by Volvo (& Freightliner & Ford & Kenworth & Peterbilt etc) that import from Mexico/Canada and have minimized US factory production). The Trump Tariffs HELP Mack to compete against imports.
