of office because he abandoned his constituents.... Bailes was defeated by Janis Holt by 53% to 39% in the 2024 GOP primary for the Texas House
“Ernest Bailes is very defensive right now because he's the one who created Colony Ridge that led to an influx of illegal immigrants in the area, and he did nothing about it. And he himself seemed to get contributions based off of it.”
“But more than that, Ernest Bailes has failed his district. He’s repeatedly voted with Democrats against Republicans, the very people who are going to be voting in the primary beginning tomorrow. The people in that district deserve to have a state representative that represents their values, not the values of Democrats.”
