Darn. This might be a giant wake up call for those seeking greener pastures.
Not only is he losing $500,000 from his $2 million original deal, but as the story correctly points out, Tennessee has no income tax. California has the highest rate in the country. So in reality, instead of paying no state income tax, he will get socked at the highest rate in th land. H is going to going to make about $750,000 at UCLA after taxes. A lot of money, but still.
Other "benefits" to living in LA: wild fires (which they apparently do not know how to fight), earthquakes, traffic, most corrupt, incompetent governor in the Union (and that is saying something), community property state if he gets married (ask Albert Pujols about that).
I could go on - and on, and on.
