And your opinion of NIL has been retarded from the get-go.
Yes, we as fans have enjoyed a system where for decades young men from impoverished backgrounds entertained millions for essentially no pay and with no real chance at the NBA (or NFL).
That imbalance has corrected itself and those griping about it as if we need some sort of communist approach to put these entertainers back in the box to perform for free are some of the most unaware people ever.
You followed what everyone else did and no one told you it was wrong.
Exactly the same as the people in the South in the 1800s or Elon Musk with his H1-B visas today for that matter.
Taking advantage is taking advantage - just own up to the fact that you never really thought about it but now, in the fresh light of day, you're happy the players are getting paid and Mizzou has at least a chance to win in a game it was never allowed to play under the old system of under the table deals by the big programs.
That or continue making an azz of yourself - your choice...
