One thing about the sports MU offers

other than football, soccer and baseball is they provide something unique to the state. There are simply no sports entertainment equivalents to SEC level softball, volleyball, WBB, MBB, gymnastics, track, S/D or Big 12 wrestling. College football is extremely popular so it stays of course but baseball just doesn’t have the cachet when you have the Royals and Cardinals. And frankly, the Current are more interesting than MU soccer will ever be. Golf is fine with an abundance of courses around and relatively small budget but if I could eliminate 3 sports that just don’t do anything for Mizzou or the state it would be MU baseball, soccer and tennis. Granted tennis is kind of unique but interest is so minuscule as to be ridiculous in Missouri. Gotta be the biggest Title 9 filler of all.
