getting information on small pieces of that background presently, but a broken home can have very damaging effects on children.
Some unanswered questions... were his biological parents married when he was born? Where did they live, Norway? US? What happened that his mother lost custody of him? Did she have custody when she told his father that she was taking him to Florida for spring break, but took him to Norway instead? Were they married at the time?
How did Jessica Ikner come into the picture? Did she marry his father? At some point she/they apparently adopted him and he changed both his first and last name, taking on hers? Who is the biological father? How has he been involved in his life? Is his name Ikner as well?
