Mun Choi's already announced there will be cuts. I know people here hate KU, but they're bracing for impact on the med campus, as KU Med is a huge cancer treatment and research facility.

If you think all disease related research is going to be done by private entities, you're sadly mistaken. Much of the medical research done in this country, happens through collegiate research institutions.
