My US Border Patrol buddy gave me a couple of hats. He told me to wear the hat at a construction job site or at a Home Depot and watch what happens. One time I wore the hat into a Quik Trip in suburban Platte Co. and spooked an entire landscape crew. It was the noon hour and they were crowded around a microwave oven cooking their tacos. When they saw me enter, they ran out the front door and across four lanes of traffic on Barry Rd. They disappeared into the brush on the north side of the road. Fortunately, no one was hit by passing traffic.
