It was a weird ending

to a fairly unemotional midweek game up until that point.

The thing I couldn't figure out is why Hawkins was so upset at the umpires after the game. What did he want them to do? I've been to like 5 MSU games this spring and he has had extended arguments with the umpires and the other dugout in 4 of those games.
