opponent in the 2nd round (TTU).

With MU making a Sweet 16 run, the Big 12 would have 2 *fewer* wins (losing TTU's 2nd round and S16 wins) and the SEC would have 3 additional wins (gaining MU's 1st and 2nd round wins, plus a guaranteed SEC win in the Elite 8 between Mizzou-Arkansas).

The record would therefore be...

SEC (26-13)
Big 12 (12-7)

... giving the SEC a better win %, if Mizzou had reached the Sweet 16.
