Your post stated it was dumb that some Missouri fans wished Sampson was our coach because of the last possession of the NC game that just happened.
I don't know if you really mean't that or not but that's what you wrote.
That's dumb because any of us would take the success he's had at Houston (and really Oklahoma) which is better than any success any of our coaches have achieved in our entire basketball history and yet gripe about the last possession of the National Championship game. It would be hugely disappointing.
What's more disappointing is we haven't been in a final four, much less a NC game. So although not an "elite" coach in your mind, Sampson has taken teams farther than any Mizzou team has been.
Which is why your take, as stated, is dumb.
