Then in that case I would at least know the guidelines of the governing body.

Is it a perfect system. No. But I would take that over the whims of a president (keep in mind a democrat president can easily revere that order too).

Even with all that the odds are still very very low. And the big majority of trans have been in solo events (track swimming, weightlifting).

The biggest one other I know of is the volleyball player in college. And I think many teams did the right thing and just forfeited. That kinda forced the league to do something about it over time
