He was given a 5 year show cause in 2008, and left the college game to be an NBA assistant. He was hired on April 3rd 2014 by Houston when his show cause had expired. On April 17th, 2014 Haith unexpectedly took the Tulsa job creating an MU vacancy. That was filled on April 28th, 2014 by Kim Anderson


But Sampson was already Houston’s coach when we had our first vacancy following his show cause ending
