backfire is when a visiting/opposing fan reaches out and interferes with what is live ball hit by the home team that's surely a hit. He gets the batter out. Maybe the home fans rough him up. Probably deserves it. If its one of the home team's fans then he deserves out and roughing up for being a retard.
