An elite coach nowadays runs about $12 million a year.
You can probably get a solid veteran, but unheard of, Coach for $2 million who could do a decent job.
That would save your program $10 million which you can then use towards extra NIL money. Essentially, you could get five $2 million players, which would be pretty close to elite level players. Five players.
Is one elite level head coach worth five elite players on the roster? Just sayin.
