No one treats spring ball as a time to get ready to play. They mostly just work on fundamentals and do a first round of evaluations to get ready for summer and Fall camp. Having an actual game, even one that doesn't count for anything, would completely change the landscape. I don't see any positives for having any game in the spring, much less against a rival.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
