They published a monthly employee news letter. One month, on the cover was a bottle of vanilla extract talking about the financial firm was vanilla.. meaning they didn’t offer custom in house financial products to drive up profit but only the best products on the market.

A group of black employees sued saying that was racist. That it was signaling the firm was white.

Problem is… what color is vanilla extract?
