and forced the issue. Then they have to decide if they are going to arrest her or not. You do not have to answer questions just because they want to ask you.
Being cuffed isn't a big deal. It's standard procedure for transporting somebody in a police vehicle. It's for their safety and the officer's safety.
The right answer is to say you're not going to answer any questions without an attorney present and if they want to talk to you, you'll have your attorney contact them. If they arrest you anyway, you still don't have to answer questions.
