connection is solid. The Ayatollahs are very overt in their control of Iran.

As we saw with Trump's first term, we have more of a shadow government that has ultimate veto power on the actual government. Several things he decreed, that were within his power to do, were simply ignored or slow walked until he left office.

In many ways the DC swamp has more power than our elected officials that are technically their bosses.
