Because they think values have changed.
The Bill of Rights has not changed.
Our realization of it has gotten more complete, but the actual values expressed by it have not changed.
The reason liberals say 1700s values is because they seek to degrade those values, to trick people into 'other values', to debauche and to destroy.
For example, whether it's 1700 or 2025, gays are still mentally ill (or at least spiritually damaged).
The future of the human race is created by heterosexual partners who produce offspring and who are in good enough condition spiritually to help those offspring become productive members of society.
None of that is complicated.
It may be difficult and challenging given the environment, but it's not complicated.
Twisting all of that so that pedophilia or gay or any of the perversions are 'just as good' and 'should be treated with respect' are banners raised by people who also claim that '1700s' values' are old-fashioned, out-dated and just plain uncool.
What they're really trying to say is that these 1700's values are no longer 'values' but literally bad, evil, limiting, short-sighted and no longer a point of survival.
Just know this red flag when you see it: 1700s values.
To a liberal death and destruction and the end of the human race entire is PROGRESS.
To someone with real values, it's simply death.
And human beings in good spiritual condition do not seek death.
