What's really needed at all levels, not just collegiate, is a formula for fame that takes into account every stat on the field with pay provided at season's end.

Those would be incentives in alignment with what everyone actually wants, not pay for past play and all the risk that entails.

But at least we've moved off the silly 'oh they can't handle the money' argument so that's progress...
