what's odd is that it's not like they're hurting for talent. he's still getting good players.
his '22 recruiting class was ranked #5 (according to 247), and '23 was #9. those players should have been the core of his team this past year. then his transfer classes were #1 in '23 and #3 in '24. put those together and talent definitely shouldn't be a concern. they should have been well stocked this year.
going forward it gets dicey. his last 2 recruiting classes ('24 and '25) were #31 and #28, and so far they have no incoming transfers. so as bad as they performed this year with a fully stocked roster, they're going into next year relatively bare.
