Because America became a country of distinct people who settled this new land over 200 years. America was ready to become an independent nation of people
It’s important to remember that most British colonies werent able to make such a claim. Most British colonies were full of uncivilized cannibals who the British gave civilization to. Even today there are very few places(Singapore, the US, Australia) that have progressed since the British left. Most like Jamaica, African colonies, India, have regressed since the British left. Those that didn’t immediately fall apart like Rhodesia, South Africa, Barbados, stayed afloat because they kept British civilization in place when the British granted independence. At least for a time
