Mizzou/Gates was the only major letdown for the conference; every other team/coach had a respectable showing.
• 7 in the Sweet 16 (an all-time record).
• Half the Elite 8.
• Half the Final 4.
• And guaranteed a spot in the title game.
Even if Duke turns out to the champ, the SEC has proven that it was – undeniably – the best conference in the history of college basketball.
