I think Whirlpool also makes Amana, Kitchenaid and a few other brands
That being said, we do currently have a LG fridge we bought last year. Its...ok. The ice can be a bit wonky at times. Seems like it randomly stops making ice and we have to hit a *reset* button to get it making agian. By that point, you're out of ice though so its a PITA
